Bob Miller (sports Announcer)
Robert James Miller (born October 12, 1938) is an American retired sportscaster, best known as the play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Kings team of the National Hockey League on Fox Sports West/Prime Ticket. Miller held that post with the team from 1973 until his retirement in 2017. He was partnered with Jim Fox from 1990 to 2017. Early life and career Miller received his degree in communication studies from the University of Iowa. While there, he began his broadcasting career, covering the school's football and basketball games for campus station KRUI-FM. After his graduation in 1960, Miller began working in television sports journalism in Wisconsin. He later would add announcing duties for the football and hockey teams at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Kyle Clifford
Kyle Frank Clifford (born January 13, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). Alec Martinez (born July 26, 1987) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, having won with the Los Angeles Kings in 2012 and 2014. The ''NHL on NBC'' is an American presentation of National Hockey League (NHL) games produced by NBC Sports, and televised on NBC properties, including MSNBC, CNBC, Golf Channel, USA Network and NBCSN in the United States. Nicholas R. Nickson (born December 21, 1953) is an American sportscaster who currently serves as the radio play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League. Biography Early career A native of Rochester, New York, Nickson attended Ithaca College, where he served as the Sports Director and play-by-play announcer for the school's radio station, WICB. His professional broadcasting career began in 1975 with the Rochester Americans. From 1977–81 he called games for the New Haven Nighthawks. Pete Weber (broadcaster)
Pete Weber (born January 19, 1951) is the play-by-play voice of the NHL's Nashville Predators, a position he has held with the organization since the team's first season. During the lockout that caused the entire 2004–05 NHL season to be canceled, Weber spent time following the Nashville Sounds minor league baseball team, and served as host of a weekly video on demand show about the team available on Comcast in the Nashville metropolitan area. Weber also called the 2003 and 2004 Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl for WWTN radio. He served as co-host of "SportsNight" on WWTN & WNFN radio from July 2003 to August 2005. Rich Marotta
Rich Marotta is an American sports personality in Reno, Nevada. After spending nearly 30 years in Los Angeles, Rich worked the final five years of his radio career on LA-based KFI AM 640, broadcasting from his Nevada home. In February 2011, he was inducted into the Southern California Sportscasters Hall of Fame. Then in June 2011, Rich was inducted into the California Boxing Hall of Fame. Dan Avey (April 26, 1941 – August 15, 2010) was a radio personality and newscaster who worked for over 30 years in the Los Angeles area and received more than 30 major journalism awards including 15 Golden Mikes.
