Bob Gregory (American Football)
Bob Gregory (born April 25, 1963) is an American college football coach and former player who is currently the special teams coordinator and safeties coach at Stanford, and previously served as the interim head coach, defensive coordinator, and inside linebackers coach at the University of Washington. He served as the interim head football coach at Boise State University for one game during the 2013 season, the Hawaii Bowl. Gregory took over as interim head coach at Washington on November 14, 2021, after Washington fired Jimmy Lake. Gregory also coached in Lake's place the day prior while Lake was serving a suspension. Stanford Cardinal Football
The Stanford Cardinal football program represents Stanford University in college football at the NCAA Division I FBS level and is a member of the Pac-12 Conference's North Division. The team is known as the Stanford Cardinal, Cardinal, adopted prior to the 1982 Stanford Cardinal football team, 1982 season. Washington Huskies
The Washington Huskies are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the University of Washington, located in Seattle. The school competes at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. Washington students, sports teams, and alumni are called Huskies. The husky was selected as the school mascot by the Associated Students of UW in 1922. It replaced the "Sun Dodger," an abstract reference to the local weather that was quickly dropped in favor of something more tangible. The costumed " Harry the Husky" performs at sporting and special events, and a live Alaskan Malamute, currently named Dubs II, traditionally leads the football team onto the field at the start of games. The 2021 Washington Huskies football team represented the University of Washington during the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Huskies were led by second year head coach Jimmy Lake for the first ten games. The team announced a new head coach, Kalen DeBoer, on November 30. Chris Petersen
Christopher Scott Petersen (born October 13, 1964) is a former American football coach who was most recently the head coach at the University of Washington. Previously the head coach for eight seasons at Boise State University, Petersen guided the Broncos to two BCS bowl wins: the (2006 Season) 2007 and (2009 Season) 2010 Fiesta Bowls. He is the first two-time winner of the Paul "Bear" Bryant Award, which he won in 2006 and 2009. Petersen also won the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award in 2010. At Washington, Petersen led the Huskies to the College Football Playoff in 2016, but fell to Alabama in the Peach Bowl. Petersen announced his resignation on December 2, 2019, to be effective after the team's bowl game. The Mountain West Conference (MW) is one of the collegiate athletic conferences affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) (formerly I-A). Troy Taylor (American Football)
Troy Scott Taylor (born April 5, 1968) is an American football coach and former player who is currently the head coach of the Stanford Cardinal. Previously, he served as co-head football coach at Folsom High School in Folsom, California, from 2012 to 2015; co-offensive coordinator at Eastern Washington University in 2016; offensive coordinator at the University of Utah from 2017 to 2018; and as head coach at Sacramento State from 2019 to 2022. Playing career Taylor attended Cordova High School in Rancho Cordova, California.
