Bob Fisher (American Football Coach)
Robert T. Fisher (December 3, 1888 – July 7, 1942) was an American football player and coach. He played college football at Harvard University and was a consensus College Football All-America Team, All-American in 1910 and 1911. He served as the head football coach at Harvard from 1919 to 1925, compiling a record of 43–14–5 and winning the 1920 Rose Bowl. His 1919 Harvard Crimson football, 1919 team was retroactively recognized as a College football national championships in NCAA Division I FBS, national champion by a number of selectors. Fisher was one of the original trustees for the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA). He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1973. 1919 Oregon Webfoots Football Team
The 1919 Oregon Webfoots football team represented the University of Oregon in the 1919 college football season. It was the Webfoots' 27th overall and fourth season as a member of the Pacific Coast Conference (PCC). Home games were played at Kincaid Field and Hayward Field in Eugene, and at Multnomah Field in Portland. Under second-year head coach Charles A. Huntington, Oregon was in the regular season and in the PCC; the second loss was by a point to undefeated Harvard in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day. The inaugural game at Hayward Field was the rivalry against Oregon Agricultural on November 15. It hosted varsity football through 1966, and continues as an elite track and field venue. The 1919 Harvard Crimson football team was an American football team that represented Harvard University as an independent during the 1919 college football season. In their first season under head coach Bob Fisher (American football coach), Bob Fisher, the Crimson compiled a 9–0–1 record, shut out seven of ten opponents, and outscored all opponents by a total of 229 to 19. The team was invited to play in the 1920 Rose Bowl and defeated 1919 Oregon Webfoots football team, Oregon, 7–6. Percy Haughton
Percy Duncan Haughton (July 11, 1876 – October 27, 1924) was an American football and baseball player and coach. He served as head football coach at Cornell University from 1899 to 1900, at Harvard University from 1908 to 1916, and at Columbia University from 1923 to 1924, compiling a career college football record of 97–17–6. The Harvard Crimson claimed national champions for three of the seasons that Haughton coached: 1910, 1912, and 1913. Haughton was also Harvard's head baseball coach in 1915 and part owner of the Boston Braves from 1916 to 1918. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1951. Kelly Field
Kelly Field (formerly Kelly Air Force Base) is a Joint-Use facility located in San Antonio, Texas. It was originally named after George E. M. Kelly, the first member of the U.S. military killed in the crash of an airplane he was piloting. In 2001, pursuant to BRAC action, the former Kelly AFB runway and land west of the runway became "Kelly Field" and control of this reduced size installation was transferred to the adjacent Lackland Air Force Base, part of Joint Base San Antonio.
