Boaz Moda'i
Boaz Moda'i (also Boaz Modai, he, בועז מודעי) is an Israeli diplomat. He was Israel's ambassador to Ireland from 2010 to 2015. Biography Boaz Moda'i is the son of Yitzhak Moda'i, an Israeli politician. His mother, Michal Har'el, was the second Miss Israel, crowned in 1951, later an honorary life president of the Women's International Zionist Organization. Diplomatic career Modai joined Israel's foreign ministry in 1988. He has served in Israeli embassies in Guatemala, Honduras, Thailand, and London. He served as first counselor of Israel's Embassy to the Holy See. In that role he acted as political co-ordinator for the visit of Pope John Paul II to Israel in 2000. Before moving to Dublin, he spent six years in the Training Bureau of Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem. Zion Evrony is a retired Israeli diplomat, formerly serving as Israel's ambassador to Ireland and the Holy See. Biography Evrony was born in Tehran, Iran. Shortly after his birth his family migrated to the recently formed Israeli state, where he lived in a Ma'abarot camp. He later studied at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science, a Masters in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in International relations. Channel 10 ( he, ערוץ עשר, translit=Arutz Eser), formerly known as Israel 10 ( he, ישראל 10, translit=Yisra'el Eser), was an Israeli free-to-air television channel. Operating under the auspices of The Second Authority for Television and Radio, Channel 10 was one of three commercial television channels in Israel (others being Keshet 12 and Reshet 13), enjoying an average audience rating of 6.5% in 2011 within its main news program. Despite the name, the channel was actually broadcast on channel 14 from 1 November 2017 until its closure on 16 January 2019.
