Blue Team (Czech Politics)
In Czech politics, the Blue Team (Czech: ''Modrý tým'') was a members organisation of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), whose purpose, as stated on its website, was to help at ODS meetings, promote right-wing political ideas, promote the team itself, analyse opinion polls, and recruit new members. History The Blue Team was founded on 29 April 2009, inspired by similar projects in other countries. It was first used during the 2009 European parliament election campaign, after which Mirek Topolánek stated that the Blue Team helped ODS win the election. During a meeting in May 2010, members of the Blue Team played airsoft, prompting Jaroslav Tvrdík, campaign manager of the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD), to accuse the Blue Team of training commandos to interrupt ČSSD meetings, and compare the Blue Team with the Nazi Party. Jaromír Jágr (; born 15 February 1972) is a Czech professional ice hockey right winger for and the owner of Rytíři Kladno of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Tomáš Berdych (; born 17 September 1985) is a Czech former professional tennis player. Edvard Kožušník (born 30 January 1971) is a Czech politician for the Civic Democratic Party (ODS). He served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2014 and is the former chief of staff to the president of the Czech Senate, Přemysl Sobotka. Evžen Tošenovský (born 26 February 1956) is a Czech politician. He was elected as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) in the 2009 European Parliament election receiving the largest number of preference votes. Jan Zahradil (born 30 March 1963) is a Czech politician for the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) who has been Member of the European Parliament (MEP) since the Czech Republic entered the European Union in 2004. 2013 Czech Legislative Election
Early legislative elections were held in the Czech Republic on 25 and 26 October 2013, seven months before the constitutional expiry of the elected parliament's four-year legislative term. The government elected in May 2010 led by Prime Minister Petr Nečas was forced to resign on 17 June 2013, after a corruption and bribery scandal. A caretaker government led by Prime Minister Jiří Rusnok was then appointed by the President, but narrowly lost a vote of confidence on 7 August, leading to its resignation six days later. Airsoft is a team game in which participants eliminate opposing players by tag (game), tagging them out of play with airsoft pellets, spherical plastic projectiles shot with mock air gun, air weapons(usually powered by an electronic motor) called airsoft guns. Although similar to paintball in concept and gameplay, airsoft pellets do not leave visible markings on their target and hits are not always apparent.
