Bismarck Barreto Faria, better known as Bismarck (born 11 November 1969) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Bismarck was born in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro State. His professional career began in 1987 playing for Vasco da Gama of Brazil. In 1993, he moved to Japan to play for the Verdy Kawasaki of the J1 League. During his three seasons at Verdy, Bismarck was twice selected as a member of the J. League Best Eleven, in 1994 and 1995. In 1997, he moved to Kashima Antlers, where he was again selected for the league's Best Eleven award in his first season with the new club. In 2002, he returned to Brazil to play for the Fluminense and the Goiás. However, in 2003 Bismarck would return to Japan to play for Vissel Kobe before retiring at the end of that season. Bismarck Normu Kuyon (September 15, 1939February 12, 2014) was a Liberian politician and educator. He was a legislator in the 1970s, and would return to politics during the First Liberian Civil War. In 1993, he was chosen by the warring factions to become the head of the executive of the Liberian National Transitional Government (LNTG), but his nomination was withdrawn before the LNTG was installed. Early life and career Kuyon was born on September 15, 1939, in Gbarnga, Liberia. He belonged to the Kpelle people. He attended school in his hometown of Gbarnga. Kuyon obtained a B.Sc. degree in agriculture from the Cuttington University College in Suacoco in 1962. He worked as an agricultural extension agent at the Ministry of Agriculture between 1962–1963. Bismarck Myrick (born December 23, 1940) is a former U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Liberia (1999–2002) and Lesotho (1995–1998). He is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service and a decorated Vietnam War hero. He represented the U.S. at the swearing in of South Africa's first democratic parliament, led by Nelson Mandela. The Kingdom of Lesotho conferred on him the Kingdom's highest honor to a non-citizen. Liberia's major newspapers and civil society organizations named him "Diplomat of the Year" or "Man of the Year" for three consecutive years. Career Boateng was signed by Manchester City F.C. in 2012, and immediately loaned alongside Enock Kwakwa to the Norwegian Tippeligaen club Strømsgodset Toppfotball, as the pair were not eligible for a UK work permit.
