Antonio Celli, O.P. (2 October 1595 – 1645) was a Roman Catholic prelate who served as Bishop of Isola (1641–1645). Biography Antonio Celli was born in Tolfa, Italy on 2 October 1595 and ordained a priest in the Order of Preachers. On 16 September 1641, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Urban VIII as Bishop of Isola. On 6 October 1641, he was consecrated bishop by Alessandro Cesarini (iuniore), Cardinal-Deacon of Sant'Eustachio, with Giovanni Battista Altieri, Bishop Emeritus of Camerino, and Deodato Scaglia, Bishop of Melfi e Rapolla, serving as co-consecrators. Martino Alfieri or ''Alferi'' (November 1590 – 30 March 1641) was Apostolic Nuncio to Cologne from 1634 to 1639 and he served also as Bishop of Isola and Archbishop of Cosenza. Life Martino Alfieri was born in Milan in November 1590 where he studied by the Jesuits. He completed his studies earning a doctorate in utroque iure in the University of Pavia and then he moved to Rome, where he was ordained priest on 15 April 1623. In 1627 he became vicar of the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and his ecclesiastic career proceeded with the appointment as referendary of the Tribunals of the Apostolic Signature of Justice and of Grace (which made him a prelate and gave him the right to practice before the Roman courts), member of Fabric of Saint Peter and consultor of the Holy office. Carpentras (''Lat.'' dioecesis Carpentoratensis) was a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the Provence region (later part of France), from the later Roman Empire until 1801. It was part of the ecclesiastical province under the Metropolitan, the Archbishop of Arles. The bishop was a major figure in the Comtat Venaissin, and a member of the Estates of the Comtat. Alessandro Bichi (30 September 1596 – 25 May 1657) was an Italian Catholic Cardinal and papal nuncio to France. Biography Bichi was born in Siena in 1596, the son of Vincenzo Bichi and nephew of Cardinal Metello Bichi. At an early age he became ''Lieutenant of the Auditor'' of the Apostolic Chamber during the pontificate of Pope Urban VIII and was then appointed ''Referendary of the Tribunals'' of the Apostolic Signatura of Justice and of Grace.
