Birthday (short Story Collection)
is a story collection by Japanese writer Koji Suzuki and first published on February 5, 1999 in Japan. It is the fourth installment of Suzuki's Ring (Suzuki novel), ''Ring'' series. Plot The book consists of three short stories occurring each in a different timeframe, and are all related to the ''Ring'' universe: Coffin in the Sky (空に浮かぶ棺, ''Sora ni Ukabu Hitsugi'') In November 1990 during the events of ''Spiral (Suzuki novel), Spiral'', Mai Takano finds herself waking up at the bottom of an exhaust shaft of a building near Tokyo Bay. The only way out of the shaft is by climbing a cloth tied to a beam nearby, but her ankle is broken and the shaft is too small for an adult to reasonably move about. To her surprise, Mai also finds out that she is pregnant, despite never having a sexual encounter before. Spiral (Suzuki Novel)
is a 1995 Japanese novel, a part of author Koji Suzuki's ''Ring'' series. It is the second in the '' Ring series'', and a film based on the book was released in 1998. The English translation of the book was published by Vertical Press in the United States and by HarperCollins in Britain. Plot The events in the story occur one day after the events of the 1st book. It introduces Ando Mitsuo, a coroner still struggling with his son's death, being assigned to do the autopsy of his old classmate, Ryūji Takayama. He and his colleague, Miyashita, find a tumor in Ryūji's heart, which is believed to be his cause of death. Puzzled as the tumor appears similar to smallpox (which was eradicated in 1979), Ando completes the autopsy and, upon finding a newspaper poking through a suture, is reminded of Ryūji's cryptography hobby. Finding the newspaper numbers interesting, he decodes them and discovers that they spell "RING", perplexing Ando. In the search for the message's meaning, And ... ''Ring'' ( ja, リング, Ringu), also known as ''The Ring'', is a Japanese horror media franchise, based on the novel series of the same name written by Koji Suzuki. A birthday is the anniversary of the birth of a person, or figuratively of an institution. Morning Sickness
Morning sickness, also called nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVP), is a symptom of pregnancy that involves nausea or vomiting. Despite the name, nausea or vomiting can occur at any time during the day. Typically the symptoms occur between the 4th and 16th week of pregnancy. About 10% of women still have symptoms after the 20th week of pregnancy. A severe form of the condition is known as hyperemesis gravidarum and results in weight loss. The cause of morning sickness is unknown but may relate to changing levels of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin. ''S'' is the fifth novel in the ''Ring'' series by Koji Suzuki. It served as the basis of the film ''Sadako 3D'' and ''Sadako 3D 2''.
