William Arthur Johnson (born January 27, 1952), better known as Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver and return specialist in the National Football League (NFL) from 1974 through 1988. A 75th and 100th Anniversary All-Time NFL Team selection, Johnson is also well known as one of the first players to display elaborate celebrations in the end zone. He is one of 29 individuals to be selected to multiple All-Decade teams. Early life Johnson earned his famous nickname as a high schooler at Chichester School District in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, where he dyed his shoes as part of a dare. William Robert Johnson (born 25 September 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Kettering Town. Having begun his career at local club Beccles Town, Johnson joined Norwich City's under-23 set-up in August 2018 from Norwich United following a successful trial. He remained at Norwich for two years, spending time on loan at Lowestoft Town and Braintree Town of the National League South during the 2019–20 season. Johnson signed for Stevenage in July 2020 and spent one season with the club, before returning to Braintree Town on two different occasions between spells with Gloucester City and Leiston. William Russell Johnson (August 30, 1918 – June 20, 2006) was an American professional baseball player. He was a third baseman in Major League Baseball who played in 964 games for the New York Yankees in the 1940s and later with the St. Louis Cardinals. Johnson was born in Montclair, New Jersey, and debuted in . He had an impressive rookie season which earned him 4th place in American League MVP voting. After missing 1944–1945 for wartime service in the United States Army, where he fought in the European Theater of Operations, he returned to MLB to spend the next five seasons as a regular third baseman. Billy Johnson (Mormon)
Joseph William Billy Johnson (17 December 1934 – 27 March 2012) was one of the first converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Ghana, and was one of the first stake patriarchs in the country. Prior to his baptism, he had worked for many years to spread the doctrines of the LDS Church to many of his fellow countrymen. He was baptized six months after the 1978 Revelation on Priesthood and among the first to be baptized in the church in Ghana. Church leadership prior to baptism Johnson was born in Lagos, Nigeria on December 17, 1934. He described his upbringing as Catholic and was a reverend in the Church of the Lord (Aladura). He also worked as an import officer for metal industries. In 1964, Johnson learned about the Book of Mormon from Frank A. Mensah. William Ryan Johnson (born October 10, 1986) is an American professional sports car and stock car racing driver. He is the 2016 IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge GS champion. He currently competes part-time in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship, driving for Ford Chip Ganassi Racing UK in the No. 66 Ford GT. Rocket Fuel Is The Key are an American noise rock band from Kansas City, Missouri, United States. History Rocket Fuel Is The Key formed in early 1994 when guitarist Scott McNearney moved to Kansas City and began to search for like-minded people to make music with. Bringing in Ed Przychodzki on drums and Vic Denson on bass guitar the lineup was finished six months later. Following the creation of a demo and extensive touring the band they were approached by a New York label to record their debut album. Following recording in both New York and Minneapolis their debut "Consider it Contempt" was completed. Shortly before the release of the album Przychodzki left the band citing creative differences. The band then sought out a replacement for the subsequent tour of the album, drafting in Billy Johnson. Billy Johnstone (born 15 June 1959) is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played for Canterbury-Bankstown, St. George and the Gold Coast Giants. Johnstone also was a boxer, with 21 wins and 6 losses in 27 bouts. Playing career Johnston won the Brisbane Rugby League premiership with Souths in 1981. Johnstone played in the 1982 Brisbane Rugby League grand final for Souths against Wynnum-Manly.
