''Big Brother'' is a Dutch reality competition television franchise created by John de Mol Jr., first broadcast in the Netherlands in 1999, and subsequently syndicated internationally. Big Brother Africa 3 is the third series of the ''Big Brother Africa'' reality television show produced by Endemol. The season began airing on 24 August 2008 and run 91 days ending 23 November 2008.
