Big Brother (Israeli Season 4)
''HaAh HaGadol 4'' ( he, האח הגדול 4; lit. ''The Big Brother 4'') is the fourth season of the Israeli version of the reality show ''Big Brother''. The season began broadcasting on 1 January 2012, and ended on 2 April 2012. Seventeen housemates entered the house at the premiere, and another housemate joined after 22 days. Another three housemates joined after 45 days. the premiere episode scored an unprecedented 45% on the ratings chart. The season showcases, among other personalities, a contestant with an intense hatred for Arabs, a pro-Palestinian sympathizer, a newlywed couple, and a blind man with his guide dog. Themes Religion, politics and ethnicity have been among the themes to generate tension between contestants in the ''Big Brother'' house during the fourth season. Erez Moshe Tal ( he, ארז טל; born 27 July 1961) is an Israeli television host. Early life Born as Erez Moshe Ben-Tulila in Tel Aviv, Israel, to Jewish parents. His father, Aharon Ben-Tulila, immigrated from Algeria, whereas his mother Edna is Israeli-born. His family Hebraized its surname to Tal (dew in Hebrew) when he was four years old. Kiryat Haim ( he, קריית חיים  , ar, كريات حاييم) is a neighborhood of Haifa, Israel. It is considered part of the Krayot cluster in the northern part of metropolitan Haifa. Geulim ( he, גְּאֻלִים, , Redeemed) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Sharon plain near Netanya, it falls under the jurisdiction of Lev HaSharon Regional Council. It was an open woodland dominated by Mount Tabor Oak, which extended from Kfar Yona in the north to Ra'anana in the south.
