Östersund Ski Stadium
The Östersund Ski Stadium ( sv, Östersunds skidstadion) is a cross-country skiing, biathlon, and ski orienteering facility in Östersund, Sweden. In October 2013 it was appointed national stadium for Swedish biathlon. Michal Krčmář (; born 23 January 1991) is a Czech biathlete and an Olympic silver medalist in the sprint at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. He was a part of the silver junior men's relay at Biathlon Junior World Championships 2012. Since 2013–14 season he has competed regularly at Biathlon World Cup and has amassed 300 World Cup Starts. Leif Nordgren (born May 18, 1989 in Colorado Springs, Colorado) is an American biathlete. Living in Minnesota and introduced to biathlon by his elder sister Sonne at age 14, he started competing seriously in the sport at age 17. He placed top ten in all events in the 2008 Junior World Championships, obtaining a bronze medal in 10 km pursuit.
