Les Saisies is a ski resort located in the Savoie '' départment'' of France. It is from Albertville, host of the 1992 Winter Olympics. Oļegs Maļuhins
Oļegs Maļuhins (рус. Олег Малюхин, born 6 May 1969) is a former Latvian biathlete. Maļuhins was node made part of the Latvian Olympic biathlon team in 2006, and so participated in cross-country skiing instead. He retired after that season, but announced a comeback in 2008 stating that he would try to qualify for the 2010 Winter Olympics. He did not qualify. Hubert Leitgeb (biathlete)
Hubert Leitgeb (31 October 1965 – 4 February 2012) was an Italian biathlete. Life and career Leitgeb participated in two Olympics, in 1992 and 1998. Alongside Johann Passler, Pieralberto Carrara and Andreas Zingerle, he was part of the Italian squad which narrowly missed out on a medal in the men's relay at the 1992 Games, finishing fourth. He won three medals at World Championships, including two golds. He competed in Biathlon World Cup, where he got 131 starts, with 17 finishes in the top 10. In 1994, he won his first and only individual World Cup victory, in a 20 km individual. Leitgeb retired as a biathlete after the 1997–98 season. After his retirement, he worked as a coach for five years. In 2006 he was elected to the International Biathlon Union's Technical Committee. Valeriy Alekseevitch Medvedtsev (russian: Валерий Алексеевич Медведцев; born 5 July 1964) is a former Russian biathlete. Career On 16 January 1986, Medvedtsev achieved the feat of winning his World Cup debut. He trained at the Armed Forces sports society in Izhevsk. At the 1988 Olympics in Calgary, Medvedtsev, competing for the USSR, won two silver medals in the 10 km sprint and the 20 km individual, and also gold medal in the relay. At the 1992 Olympics in Albertville he won a silver medal in the relay competition for the Unified Team. In the World Championships, Medvedtsev has three relay medals gold from 1986 in Oslo, silver from 1987 in Lake Placid and silver from 1993 in Borovets. Mikael Löfgren (born 2 September 1969) is a former Swedish biathlete. He became the Junior World Champion in 1986, aged 17. At the 1992 Olympics in Albertville, France, he won two bronze medals, one in the 4 × 7.5 km relay and one in the 20 km individual.
