Beyond The Gates (Joacim Cans Album)
''Beyond the Gates'' is the first studio album by HammerFall vocalist Joacim Cans and was released in 2004. Samwise Didier, who has done most of the artwork for Hammerfall, made the cover art. Charlie Bauerfeind, who produced many of band's albums, was the producer. Cans bandmates Oscar Dronjak and Stefan Elmgren are also featured on the record. Most of the album was recorded at Studio Fredman in Cans's hometown: Gothenburg, Sweden. Joacim Cans
Joacim Cans (born 19 February 1970 in Mora) is a Swedish singer, best known as the lead vocalist of heavy metal band HammerFall. He is the only member aside from founder and guitarist Oscar Dronjak to appear on all of the band's albums. Cans attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. He released his first solo album titled '' Beyond the Gates'' in 2004. Cans participated with a choir team in the Swedish television program '' Körslaget'' (the Swedish version of ''Clash of the Choirs'') in 2008. On 10 May his team won the competition. Jeff Waters (born February 13, 1966) is a Canadian guitarist and the founder and bandleader of the metal band Annihilator. He was born and resides in Ottawa, Ontario. Waters has owned Watersound Studios Inc. since 1994 (where it was in Maple Ridge, British Columbia) and from 2003 until 2018, in Ottawa, Ontario, and now in the UK. Mat Sinner (born Matthias Lasch; 16 October 1964 in Stuttgart, West Germany) is a bassist, vocalist, and record producer from Stuttgart, Germany. Sinner has been involved in numerous bands and projects throughout his musical career. His main bands have been Sinner since 1982 and Primal Fear since 1997; he formed the latter band with former Gamma Ray singer Ralf Scheepers.
