Jamal Rocker (born June 14, 1975), professionally known by his stage name Mac Mall, is an American rapper who became known in the mid/late 1990s as one of the local artists putting the Bay Area on the hip hop map. JT The Bigga Figga
Joseph Tom, better known by his stage name JT the Bigga Figga (also known as Figg Panamera), is an American rapper, record producer, and record executive from the Fillmore neighborhood of San Francisco, California. He has produced music on over one hundred albums, for artists including Daz Dillinger, Master P, The Game, San Quinn, and Messy Marv. Music career In 1991, JT founded the independent record label Get Low Recordz. What started as a basement enterprise and a one-man operation, would later become one of the most successful independent labels in the country. JT's rap debut came in 1992 with the self-released album '' Don't Stop til We Major'' at the age of 18. The next year he followed it up with ''Playaz N the Game''. Get Low Recordz was a San Francisco based independent record label founded in 1991 and owned by rapper/ producer JT the Bigga Figga. The first artists who released material on Get Low Recordz were JT the Bigga Figga, Get Low Playaz, San Quinn, The Game and D-Moe. In 1995, the label got a distribution deal with Priority Records for a few years. The label became involved in a beef with Memphis Bleek's record label of the same name. The label had since been dissolved. Marvin Watson Jr. (born March 19, 1976), better known by his stage name Messy Marv, is an American rapper who began his career in the Fillmore District of San Francisco, California. Messy was also known as a collaborator in the rap group Kaalman's Krew. Recent career On November 2, 2007, Messy Marv was released from jail after serving twelve months on weapons charges. Quincy Brooks IV (born October 24, 1977), better known by his stage name San Quinn, is an American rapper from San Francisco, California. He is the cousin of Messy Marv, Stevie Johnson, and Ya Boy. Early life Brooks was born in Oakland, California, United States, and grew up in the Fillmore District of San Francisco since the age of three. He attended George Washington High School. Career Brooks made his first rap appearance as an opening act for 2Pac and Digital Underground at the age of 12. He recorded his first album at 15 years old. Shawn Thomas, also known by his stage name C-Bo, is an American rapper. C-Bo, notoriously known for his relationship with law enforcement, was one of the first rappers to be jailed due to his lyrical content, a scathing critique of political officials, including governor Pete Wilson, California's Prop. 184 mandatory 25-life sentences for three strike felons, and police on his track "Deadly Game" written with rapper X-Raided in 1995. He unsuccessfully argued for appeal three times, while gaining nationwide attention for arguably his most successful mainstream album.
