Bettina Werner (born in 1965, in Milan, Italy) is an Italian artist based in New York City. She has created artwork with her colorized salt technique since the early 1980s. Werner became an American citizen in July 2010 and now bears dual citizenship. Life and work Werner was born in Milan where studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera. Mary Bettina Linn (1905 – April 7, 1962) was an American writer and college professor. She wrote three published novels, and was on the faculty at Bryn Mawr College. She worked with the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during World War II. Early life Linn was from Overbrook, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William Bomberger Linn and Josephine Stewart Wood Linn. Her father was a judge on Pennsylvania's State Supreme Court. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1926, and earned a master's degree there in 1929. Bettina Ehrlich, ''née'' Bauer, (10 March 1903 – 10 October 1985) was an Austrian painter and illustrator of children's books, many of which she also wrote. She lived briefly in Berlin and Paris, and from 1938 in England. Family and education Bettina Bauer was born in Vienna, Austria, on 10 March 1903. She studied for three years at the Kunstgewerbeschule, or school of arts and crafts, of Vienna (now the University of Applied Arts).
