Beth Campbell (born 1971 in Illinois, United States) is an American artist who works in drawing, sculpture, and installation. Education She graduated from Truman State University with a BFA in 1993, and from Ohio University with an MFA in 1997. Career Her works have been collected by The Museum of Modern Art, New York; New School University, New York; New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. Atlas were a New Zealand rock band which was formed in 2005 and disbanded in late 2008. Founding In April 2005, in Hollywood, California, producer Hank Linderman (The Beach Boys, Eagles) introduced New Zealand rocker Ben Campbell (a former member of the band Zed) and his sister Beth Campbell (a backing vocalist for the band Chicago), to 19-year-old American solo artist Sean Cunningham. Together with Joe McCallum, the group decided to form the band Atlas. Located in Auckland, New Zealand, Atlas released their second single "Crawl" in March, 2007, and on 5 March, "Crawl" debuted at #9 before moving up to claim the top spot of the Official New Zealand Music Chart the next week, where it stayed for a total of seven weeks. Beth Campbell Short (August 6, 1908 – January 11, 1988) was an American journalist. She was a reporter for the ''Springfield News-Leader, Springfield Leader'' and ''The Oklahoman, The Daily Oklahoman'', before joining the Associated Press as a correspondent in its Washington, D.C. bureau. While there, she covered the First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt, and met her future husband, Joseph Short, a fellow reporter at the paper and later press secretary for President Harry S. Truman. She was appointed as Truman's Secretary to the President of the United States, correspondence secretary in 1952, a position she held until 1953 when the presidential administration changed. Sally Lea McCluskey (née Bostwick; April 27, 1941 – March 26, 2022), known by her pen names Bethany Campbell and Lisa Harris, was an American writer of romance novels. Biography Sally McCluskey was born on April 27, 1941, in Omaha, Nebraska. She received a B.A. from Wayne State Teachers College, an M.A. in English from the University of Arkansas, and a Ph.D. in English literature from Northern Illinois University, where she met her future husband, Dan Borengasser, a fellow graduate student. After graduation, she taught at her alma mater and later at Eastern Illinois University. She has also worked on a freelance basis as a writer for several greeting card companies. She published her first romance novel in 1984. She has received three Romance Writers of America RITA Awards, three Romantic Times Reviewer Awards, a Maggie Award, and the Daphne du Maurier Award of Excellence.
