''Bertya gummifera'' is a sticky shrub in the family Euphorbiaceae, endemic to New South Wales. It grows in woodland and often in sandstone areas. It flowers in spring. Description ''Bertya gummifera'' is a sticky shrub, growing from 1–2 m high. The young growth is covered long whitish hairs, which sometimes persist on the stems, but most of the plant loses these and becomes rough and hairless with age. The rough-surfaced leaves are 10–50 mm long and about 2 mm wide, and have margins which are rolled downwards from the upper surface (revolute). The flowers (with and without stalks) are crowded, and have 5-8 bracts. The male flowers have triangular outer bracts which are shorter and less broad than the inner bracts and the perianth segments are about 4 mm long and a reddish brown. The female flowers have narrower bracts, and their perianth segments enlarge and enclose the fruit. The capsule is up to 12 mm long and about 7 mm in diameter. The species ...

Boonah is a rural town and locality in the Scenic Rim Region, Queensland, Australia. In the , the locality of Boonah had a population of 2,484 people. Geography The town is positioned near the Fassifern Valley, McPherson Range and Main Range. It is surrounded by hills, including Mount French and other Moogerah Peaks. Frog Buttress is a popular rock climbing cliff on the north-west side of Mount French. The Wyaralong Dam was constructed east of Boonah on Teviot Brook, a tributary of the Logan River. At full supply level, water would have inundated parts of the road connecting Boonah and Beaudesert, so a new section of road has been built. Maranoa, Queensland
The Maranoa is the name given to an area of southern Queensland, about 500 kilometres (kms) west of Brisbane. Some refer to the Maranoa as the Western Downs. Leichhardt is a suburb of Ipswich in the City of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. In the , Leichhardt had a population of 3,912 people. The leaves have hairy upper surfaces, which become rough with age, and lower surfaces which are densely covered with intertwined white hairs, and having a prominent midrib.
