Bermuda First Division
The Bermuda First Division is the second level of professional Association football, football in Bermuda. The competition had nine participants in the 2019/2020 season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as happened in the first division, the last round of the competition was cancelled. The 0–0 score was recorded in all games in the round. The title of champion of the 2019–20 season was shared between the Devonshire Colts F.C. and Saint George's Colts F.C. teams, who finished the competition with the same score and goal difference. The two teams also gained access to the Bermudian Premier Division. Vasco da Gama Club is a private members' community club based in Bermuda. It currently forms part of the Bermuda Football Association, competing in its First Division League, the second tier of Bermuda football. The team has historically had Portuguese players, but more recently has seen many English and Bermudian players on the club. Bermudian Premier Division
The Bermudian Premier Division (officially the Digicel Premier Division for sponsorship reasons) is the highest level of professional football in Bermuda. Teams in this league (currently ten) compete for the national title and theoretically can claim a spot in the CONCACAF Caribbean Club Shield, although there has not yet been a Bermudian entry. The Bermudian clubs who participated in CONCACAF Champions' Cup (the predecessor to the CONCACAF Champions League), qualified in the North American zone (when zone qualifiers were used), last appearing in 1992.
