Benjamin Dean Wyatt
Benjamin Dean Wyatt (1775–1852) was an English architect, part of the Wyatt family. Early life He was the son and pupil of the architect James Wyatt, and the brother of Matthew Cotes Wyatt. Before setting up as an architect in 1809, he joined the Civil Service of the East India Company, working in the office of Lord Wellesley, in Calcutta. Afterwards, in Dublin he was employed as private secretary to Wellesley's brother Arthur, later the Duke of Wellington. In 1811, Wyatt won the competition to rebuild the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, which had been destroyed by fire in 1809. Construction began in October 1811, and the theatre opened a year later. Wyatt based the design of the auditorium partly on that of the theatre at Bordeaux, which was reputed to have the best acoustics in Europe. In 1813 he published '' Observations on the Design for the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane''. He succeeded his father in the post of Surveyor of the Fabric of Westminster Abbey from 1813 to 1827. The ... Benjamin Thomas Wyatt (born 4 February 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left back for Torquay United. He will become a free agent on 30 June 2023. Career After playing youth football with Norwich City and Ipswich Town, and in non-league for Maldon & Tiptree, Wyatt signed a one-year professional contract with Colchester United in May 2016. He moved on loan to Concord Rangers in October 2016. He moved to Braintree Town in August 2017. After playing for St Albans City, he signed for Sutton United in September 2019. He was released by the club upon the expiry of his contract on 30 June 2022. Benjamin Sana Wyatt (born 1 April 1974) is an Australian politician who was the Labor Party member for the seat of Victoria Park in the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia from 2006 to 2021. Born in Wewak, Papua New Guinea, to Australian parents, Wyatt moved to Western Australia at an early age, where he attended Aquinas College in Perth. He went on to receive a law degree from the University of Western Australia, later attending the London School of Economics on a scholarship. Wyatt returned to Australia in 2002, where he worked as a lawyer. He was elected to parliament in 2006, at the Victoria Park by-election, replacing Geoff Gallop, a former premier. While he was the state's Aboriginal Affairs Minister, his federal counterpart the Indigenous Australians Minister, was his cousin Ken Wyatt.
