Ben Nelson (American Football)
Benjamin Scott Nelson (born August 21, 1979) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2004 and played in 3 games on special teams. He played college football at St. Cloud State. Nelson was also a member of the Colorado Crush and Cleveland Gladiators. He was the AFL Rookie of the Year in 2006. On June 1, 2015, the SaberCats placed Nelson on reassignment.
