Benjamin Franklin Hunt (November 10, 1888 – September 27, 1927) was a starting pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Boston Red Sox () and St. Louis Cardinals (). Listed at , 190 lb., Hunt batted and threw left-handed. He was born in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Ben Hunt (born 6 June 1978) is an Australian former professional basketball player. He began his basketball career in the SEABL with the Bendigo Braves before playing four years of college basketball in the United States. He then had a two-year stint in the National Basketball League (NBL) with the Perth Wildcats. Early life and career Hunt was born in Bendigo, Victoria, and attended Bendigo Senior Secondary College. He made his debut for the Bendigo Braves in the SEABL in 1994. He played every year for the Braves until 2001. He earned All-SEABL South Conference Team honours in 2000 and 2001, and was named the SEABL South Conference Youth Player of the Year in 2000. College career Between 2001 and 2003, Hunt played Division I college basketball in the United States for the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks. Benjamin Hunt is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker. He was a youth player at West Ham United, and made regular appearances in their reserve side, but never made the progression into their first team. At the end of the 2007–08 season he was released by the Hammers and he signed for Bristol Rovers. Hunt's debut in senior football came on 16 August 2008 for Bristol Rovers in a League One match against Brighton & Hove Albion, when he came on as a 72nd-minute substitute for Darryl Duffy. Ben Hunt agreed a one-month loan deal with Conference North side Gloucester City on 17 December 2009. He scored on his debut against Redditch United on Boxing Day. (Francis) Benedict Hunt-Davis MBE (born 15 March 1972) is a former British competition rower and an Olympic champion. He was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire in the 2001 New Year Honours list. Early life Hunt-Davis was educated at Shiplake College, Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire. He is the son of Anita and Miles Hunt-Davis, a British Army officer.
