Bellair, Missouri
Bellair is an unincorporated community in Cooper County, Missouri, United States. The community is on Missouri Route 5, approximately ten miles south-southwest of Boonville, Missouri, Boonville. History Bellair was founded in the 1840s by T. P. Airbell, and named for him. A post office called Bellair was established in 1849, then was changed to Bell Air in 1864, and the post office closed in 1906. References

Bellair is a historic plantation house located near New Bern, Craven County, North Carolina. It was built about 1792 (verified by dendrochronology), and is a two-story, seven-bay, central hall plan Georgian style brick dwelling. Bellair (Virginia)
Bellair, in Albemarle County, Virginia, is a historic farm. The farm is significant for the architecture of its buildings and for its association with owners important in the political, religious, and economic life of the state. A 250-acre portion of the farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. Martin Dawson, owner in 1819, was a co-founder of the Rivanna Navigation Company and eventually became the largest donor to the University of Virginia up to the time of his bequest. Its southern boundary is the Hardware River. The main house on the property is a Federal-style building with dual chimneys dating from 1794 to 1817 period. Architect Marshall S. Belleair is a town in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 3,869. History Belleair traces its origins to 1896 as a planned resort town with the construction of the Belleview Hotel by railroad tycoon Henry B. Plant. Originally known as Belleair Heights, the village consisted of a few dozen homes, livestock stables, and a famed 200-seat coliseum where bicycle races and political rallies were held. Over 300 acres of land were cleared and streets platted. However, real estate development in the community did not meet expectations, and the population remained small. The former village of Belleair Heights fizzled out in the mid-20th century as urban sprawl blurred the lines between communities; the area stopped being referred to as Belleair Heights during the 1930s.
