Ice hockey (or simply hockey) is a team sport played on ice skates, usually on an ice skating rink with lines and markings specific to the sport. It belongs to a family of sports called hockey. Hockey Club Dinamo Minsk (russian: Дина́мо-Минск; be, Дынама-Мінск, ''Dynama-Minsk'') is an ice hockey team based in Minsk, Belarus. They are members of the Tarasov Division of the Kontinental Hockey League. Dinamo has qualified for the KHL playoffs (Gagarin Cup) four times: in the 2010–11, 2011–12, 2014–15 and 2016–17 KHL seasons. The team has not won a single round in the Gagarin Cup playoffs, losing in all four series. HC Yunost-Minsk ''( Belar. Юнацтва Менск, Junactva Miеnsk)'' is a Belarusian ice hockey team that plays in the Belarusian Extraleague. They play their home games at Chizhovka-Arena, located in Minsk. Yunost is the ten-times champion of Belarus, most recently in the 2020/2021 season. They won the Belarusian league three years in a row thrice: in 2003/2004, 2004/2005, and 2005/2006; 2008/2009, 2009/2010, and 2010/2011; as well as 2018/2019, 2019/2020, and 2020/2021. Keramin Minsk ''( Belar. Керамин-Минск)'' was an ice hockey team from Minsk, Belarus. They played in the Belarusian Extraleague until 2010 where the team disbanded due to financial reasons. History The club was created in 1998 under the name HC Minsk. In 2001, the club changed name to Keramin Minsk. In 2008 they signed an affiliation to be a feeder club for Dinamo Minsk, who play in the Kontinental Hockey League.
