Begin Again (Nutshell Album)
''Begin Again'' is the title of the third album by the Christian trio Nutshell A nutshell is the outer shell of a nut. Most nutshells are inedible and are removed before eating the nut meat inside. It covers and protects the kernel which may be edible. Usage Most nutshells are useful to some extent, depending on the circum .... Its title refers to the fact that previous members Pam Thiele and Heather Barlowe had left the group, to be replaced by Annie McCaig and Mo McCafferty. As ever, the group's output was based on Paul Field's songwriting talents. Nutshell (band)
Nutshell were a British Christian musical group, active from the early 1970s up to 1981. Career The band were originally called Jesus Revolution, and the members were Paul Field, Heather Barlow and Pam Thiele (née May). They had changed the name by the time of their first release, ''In Your Eyes'' (1976). The following year they released their second LP, ''Flyaway'' (1977). After the second LP had been released Barlow and Thiele left the group; Field began again with two new female vocalists, Annie McCaig and Mo McCafferty. They released two further LPs, ''Begin Again'' (1978) and ''Believe it or Not'' (1979). After the release of ''Believe it or Not'', the band changed its name to Network 3 and released two singles, "Last Train Home" (1980) and "Dangerous Game" (1981), both of which were produced by Cliff Richard and featured his backing vocals. Paul Field is a British Christian musician and songwriter who has been active since the mid-1970s first with Nutshell and then later as a solo artist. He has continued to write music and his works have won several awards. Background He began his career in the early 1970s with the folk trio called Jesus Revolution. The group, including Heather Bennett and Pam Thiele, renamed itself as Nutshell and recorded two albums.
