Beautiful Death (Slaves Album)
''Beautiful Death'' is the third full-length studio album by American rock band Slaves, released on February 16, 2018, by The Orchard and SBG Records. The album serves as a follow-up to the band's second studio album, ''Routine Breathing'' (2015) and is the group's first release since their departure from Artery Recordings. It was produced by Erik Ron and was recorded at Grey Area Studios in Los Angeles, California. This is the final studio album to feature founding member and lead vocalist Jonny Craig, who left the group in January 2019. The album was supported by its lead single, " I'd Rather See Your Star Explode", which was released on January 20, 2017. The album produced four more singles, "True Colors", "Patience Is the Virtue", "I Know a Lot of Artists", and "The Pact". The band embarked on the Beautiful Death Tour in September and October 2017 in the United States. Slaves (American Band)
Rain City Drive is an American post-hardcore band from Sacramento, California, United States, formed in 2014 under the name Slaves. They released three studio albums, ''Through Art We Are All Equals'' on June 24, 2014, '' Routine Breathing'' on August 21, 2015 and '' Beautiful Death'' on February 16, 2018 with founding member and original lead vocalist Jonny Craig. Craig departed from the band in 2019 and was replaced by Matt McAndrew, with whom they released their fourth studio album, '' To Better Days'' on August 7, 2020. This was their final album to be released under the band name Slaves. On October 15, 2021, the band announced that they had changed their name to Rain City and signed to independent record label Thriller Records. Secrets (stylized as SECRETS) is an American metalcore/post-hardcore band formed in San Diego, California in 2010. After being signed to Rise Records in 2011, Secrets released their debut full-length album '' The Ascent'' in January 2012. Capture (originally known as Capture the Crown) is an Australian metalcore band formed in early 2010 after the break-up of another metalcore outfit, Atlanta Takes State. Tilian Pearson
Tilian Pearson (born July 12, 1987), also known mononymously as Tilian, is an American singer-songwriter, musician and record producer born in Clearwater, Florida. Since 2012 he has been the third clean vocalist for the post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance. Pearson began his music career as the lead vocalist and guitarist in the progressive rock band Tides of Man, releasing an extended play and two studio albums before leaving in 2010. After parting ways with Tides of Man, Pearson briefly joined the American rock bands Saosin and Emarosa following the departure of their respective vocalists, however never released any material with the groups. Jonathan Monroe Craig (born March 26, 1986) is a Canadian-American singer and songwriter, best known as the former lead vocalist of bands Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, and Rain City Drive, as well as the co-lead vocalist of the short-lived supergroup Isles & Glaciers. Post-hardcore is a punk rock music genre that maintains the aggression and intensity of hardcore punk but emphasizes a greater degree of creative expression.
