Beach Road is a coastal suburban road in Melbourne, Australia that runs along the northeastern shore of Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay, starting at the T-junction with Beacon Street in Port Melbourne, Victoria, Port Melbourne to its southern end at the junction with Nepean Highway in Mordialloc, Victoria, Mordialloc. While only the road's southern half beyond the South Road junction is actually named "Beach Road", the name covers many consecutive street sections and this is not widely known to most drivers, as the entire allocation is still best known as by the respective names of its constituent parts: Beach Street, Beaconsfield Parade, Jacka Boulevard, Marine Parade, Ormond Esplanade, St Kilda Street, Esplanade and Beach Road ''proper''. The Country Roads Board was a government authority responsible for the construction and maintenance of main roads in the state of Victoria, Australia between 1913 and 1983. Black Rock is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 18 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Bayside local government area. Brighton Beach Railway Station
Brighton Beach railway station is located on the Sandringham line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Brighton, and it opened on 21 September 1861 as Beach.
