The Battle of Los Angeles tournament (the BOLA) is an annual independent circuit, independent wrestling tournament in North America, run and promoted by Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Over the years, the tournament has featured numerous notable wrestlers such as famous Total Nonstop Action Wrestling stars A.J. Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Los Angeles, California. It is owned and operated by wrestlers themselves, having been created by Disco Machine, Excalibur, Scott Lost, Joey Ryan, Super Dragon, and Top Gun Talwar. Since then, Disco, Talwar and Lost have retired and left the company. Since 2007, Excalibur has been the head play-by-play commentator, with a rotation of wrestlers on color commentary. Richard Allen Swann (born February 15, 1991) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to Impact Wrestling. He is a former Impact World Champion, TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Impact X Division Champion and Impact Digital Media Champion. Battle of Los Angeles (2007) was the third Battle of Los Angeles professional wrestling tournament produced by Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG). The event was held on August 31, September 1 and September 2, 2007 at the Burbank Armory in Burbank, California. The tournament featured the PWG debuts of Doug Williams, Susumu Yokosuka, Jimmy Rave and Nigel McGuinness. The tournament concluded with a three-way elimination match, in which CIMA defeated Roderick Strong and El Generico to win the 2007 Battle of Los Angeles tournament. Battle of Los Angeles (2006) was the second Battle of Los Angeles professional wrestling tournament produced by Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG). It was a three-night event held on September 1, September 2 and September 3, 2006 at the American Legion Post #308 in Reseda, California. The 2006 tournament featured twenty-four participants which concluded with Davey Richards defeating Cima in the final on the night three.
