The Battle of Lapušnik (Albanian: ''Battle of Gryka e Llapushnikut'') took place in Llapushnik, District of Pristina, 1998 during the Kosovo war. It lasted 3 days and ended in the Kosovo Liberation Army being victorious against the Yugoslav forces. Ismet Jashari
Ismet Jashari (16 April 1967 – 25 August 1998) also known as Commander Kumanova (), was an Albanian soldier of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) who was killed on 25 August 1998 during the fighting with Serbian forces in Klečke, Kosovo. The Ismet Jashari-Kumanova Brigade of the KLA was named in his memory. After the Kosovo War, he was declared Hero of Kosovo. Jashari had left Switzerland where he lived to join the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) to fight against Serbian military and police forces under the command of former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic. Early life Ismet was born on April 16, 1967 in the village of Orizari in the Municipality of Lipkovo. Kadri Veseli
Kadri Veseli (born 31 May 1967) is a Kosovar politician, former Chairman of the Assembly of Kosovo and the Kosovo Intelligence Service. He is the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo. Veseli was one of the founders and leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army. He also was the chief of the Kosovo Intelligence Service, a post-war state intelligence organisation. In 2020, he was indicted for war crimes and crimes against humanity during the Kosovo War. Education and personal life Veseli began his higher education studies in 1990 at the University of Pristina, in the faculty of Agriculture, and at the Higher Pedagogical School in the Albanian Language and Literature Department. Albanian Language

Isak Musliu
Isak Musliu (born 31 October 1970), is a former member of Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA or UÇK in Albanian). He was known as “Qerqiz” during the Yugoslav wars. After the Kosovo War, he was accused by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia of a series of beatings and murders in the KLA's Lapušnik prison camp against Serbian civilians and suspected Albanians opposed to the UÇK between May and July 1998 during the Kosovo War. The most serious incident listed in the indictment is said to have occurred on July 26 that year, when the facility was abandoned in the face of a Serb Army advance. Fatmir Limaj (born 4 February 1971), is a Kosovo-Albanian politician. He is the leader of ''Nisma për Kosovën''.
