Andrée Ehresmann (born Andrée Bastiani; 1935) is a French mathematician specialising in category theory. Education and career Ehresmann was a researcher at CNRS from 1957 to 1963. She was awarded a Ph.D. in 1962 at University of Paris under the supervision of Gustave Choquet. Her thesis was entitled ''Différentiabilité dans les espaces localement convexes. Giuseppe Bastiani (active in 1594) was an Italian painter active in the Renaissance period, mainly in his hometown of Macerata. He was a disciple of Gaspare Gasparini. Jean-Pierre Bastiani
Jean-Pierre Bastiani (6 June 1950 – 27 August 2021) was a French politician. Biography Bastiani was Departmental council (France), general councilor of the canton of Auterive from 1994 to 2008 and Mayor (France), mayor of Auterive, Haute-Garonne, Auterive from 1989 to 2008 and again from 2014 to 2018. He was also elected to the National Assembly (France), National Assembly for Haute-Garonne's 7th constituency in 1993 French legislative election, 1993, earning 37.48% of the vote in the first round and 52.16% in the second, defeating Ministry of National Education (France), minister of education Lionel Jospin. He did not run for re-election in 1997 French legislative election, 1997. He ran again in 2002 French legislative election, 2002 but was defeated by Patrick Lemasle. Bastiani died on 27 August 2021 at the age of 71. References

Joseph Pierre Bastiani (1843 — 25 November 1924) was a pioneer of the pineapple trade in Singapore, as well as the founder of a cannery on the island. Early life Bastiani was born in Corsica. Lazzaro Bastiani (1429 – 5 April 1512) was an Italian painter of the Renaissance, active mainly in Venice. He was born in Padua. He is first recorded as a painter in Venice by 1460 in a payment for an altarpiece of San Samuele, for the Procuratori di San Marco. In 1462 he was paid at the same rate as Giovanni Bellini. In 1470, he was a member of the Scuola di San Girolamo in Venice. In the 1480s he worked with Gentile Bellini for the Scuola Grande di San Marco.
