Barrackpore is a town in southern Trinidad and Tobago. It is located southeast of San Fernando, east of Debe, and northeast of Penal, and is under the administrative authority of the Penal–Debe Regional Corporation. Debe
Debe (or Débé) is a town in south Trinidad located in the region of Penal–Debe. Debe has grown from a small settlement into a key transit point which as has merged to some extent with Penal. A denomination high school was established by the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha (Parvati Girls College). Debe had initially gained importance as a train stop during sugar cane production. However with the closure of the sugar industry Debe continued to be widely known for doubles and other delicacies. The area has also gained prominence for its wholesale marketing of agricultural produce in government managed Namdevco, which is the largest wholesale market in the country. Chutney music is believed to have originated in the Barrackpore-Debe-Penal area. Jason Nazimuddin Mohammed (born 23 September 1986) is a Trinidadian cricketer. He plays first-class and List A cricket for Trinidad and Tobago.and internationally played for West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket. Cricketing career Mohammed is an aggressive right-handed middle-order batsman and a part-time off spinner. Daren Ganga
Daren Ganga (born 14 January 1979) is a former Trinidadian cricketer. He was a right-handed top order batsman and part-time right-arm offbreak bowler. After debuting as a 19-year-old he has found himself in and out of the West Indian cricket team, playing regularly for and at times captaining the West Indies A side when he was not selected. After being named the 2006 West Indies Players' Association 'Test player of the year', Ganga had for the first time in his career cemented his spot in the side and when captain Ramnaresh Sarwan injured his shoulder in the second Test of their 2007 tour of England, the West Indies Cricket Board turned to Ganga to captain the side for the remainder of the series. Rajindra Dhanraj
Rajindra Dhanraj (born 6 February 1969) was a cricket player for the West Indies. He played four Tests and six One Day Internationals. He was also successful playing for the Trinidad & Tobago team. Career Dhanraj was a prolific wicket taker at regional level throughout the 1990s, finishing with 295 first class wickets at an average of 27.10. His four Test appearances, spread out over four different series, yielded eight wickets at 74 apiece. Dhanraj holds the world record for lowest bowling average in List A cricket among players with over 50 scalps, with his 79 victims costing just 15.83 apiece. Despite a good showing during his brief ODI career, he was limited to just six appearances in the format. Sundar Popo HBM, born Sundarlal Popo Bahora (; 4 November 1943 – 2 May 2000) was a Trinidadian and Tobagonian musician. He is credited as being the father of Chutney music, beginning with his 1969 hit ''Nana and Nani''. Early life Popo was born on 4 November 1943 in Monkey Town, Barrackpore, Trinidad and Tobago into a Hindu Indo-Trinidadian family. He grew up in a musical family. In 2012, the government of Trinidad and Tobago approved the introduction of postal codes starting later that same year. In addition to the postal code implementation the country has embarked on a nationwide address improvement initiative adopting the Universal Postal Union (UPU) S-42 international standard of addressing. The UPU is an arm of the United Nations and is the coordinating body of postal services worldwide. The intent of this exercise is to correct poor addressing in Trinidad & Tobago and assign to each address a six-digit postal code.
