Bank Of Hope LPGA Match-Play
The Bank of Hope LPGA Match Play is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour in Las Vegas, Nevada. It debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2021 LPGA Tour, 2021 at the Shadow Creek Golf Course as the only match play tournament on the schedule. The title sponsor of the tournament is Bank of Hope, a Los Angeles–based Asian-American bank in the United States. Bank of Hope previously sponsored the LPGA Founders Cup from 2017 to 2019. This is the first match play tournament on the LPGA Tour since the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in 2017. Ally Ewing won the inaugural event. The Lorena Ochoa Invitational was a women's professional golf tournament in México on the LPGA Tour. Hosted by Lorena Ochoa, the event debuted in November 2008 at the course where she learned to play, Guadalajara Country Club in Guadalajara. The Lorena Ochoa Invitational was a 72-hole limited-field tournament, limited to 36 golfers. Ally Leigh Ewing (née McDonald; born October 25, 1992) is an American professional golfer and plays on the LPGA Tour. McDonald was born in Tupelo, Mississippi and grew up in Fulton, Mississippi. She played college golf at Mississippi State University where she won five events. She also won the Mississippi State Amateur twice and the North and South Women's Amateur.
