Bangladeshi Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2009
The Bangladesh cricket team toured Zimbabwe in 2009. They played five One Day Internationals against Zimbabwe. Due to Zimbabwe's self-imposed suspension from Test cricket, no Test matches were scheduled; instead, Zimbabwe have entered a team in the ICC Intercontinental Cup. At the same time as the ODI series against Bangladesh, a Zimbabwe XI will play a four-day Intercontinental Cup match against Afghanistan. Shakib Al Hasan
Shakib Al Hasan (Bengali: সাকিব আল হাসান; born 24 March 1987) is a Bangladeshi cricketer and current captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team in Tests and T20Is. He plays for Barishal in domestic cricket as an all-rounder. Elton Chigumbura
Elton Chigumbura (born 14 March 1986) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer, who played for Zimbabwe national cricket team between 2004 and 2020. He was educated at Churchill School (Harare) and made his debut at the age of 18, amidst the rebel crisis and has played 14 Test matches. Chigumbura is the most capped player in the current ODI squad with more than 200 caps. In May 2015 Chigumbura made his maiden ODI century, against Pakistan in Lahore, in his 174th ODI match. Kevan Barbour
Kevan Christopher Barbour (born 23 October 1949) is an international cricket umpire from Zimbabwe. Previously he served in the roles of president, chairman and provincial manager of the Manicaland Cricket Association. Early life Barbour was born in Bulawayo and educated at Milton High School. He played for Matabeleland from 1968 until 1970, when he moved to work in Mutare, and then played for Manicaland until 1975. He also played for the Rhodesia B cricket team. After a further move to Kwekwe, he played for Midlands until 1977. He settled back in Mutare and played for Manicaland again until 1979. Enamul Haque ( bn, এনামুল হক; born 5 December 1986) known as Enamul Haque Jr to distinguish him from Enamul Haque, who also played for Bangladesh, but was not related to him, is a Bangladeshi cricketer. Raqibul Hasan ( bn, রকিবুল হাসান; born 8 October 1987) is a Bangladeshi international cricketer who also plays for Dhaka Division. Sean Colin Williams (born 26 September 1986) is a Zimbabwean international cricketer and currently captains the national team in Test cricket, who plays all formats primarily as a batting all-rounder. Brendan Ross Murray Taylor (born 6 February 1986) is a Zimbabwean former international cricketer and a former Zimbabwean captain, who played all formats of the game. Chamunorwa Justice "Chamu" Chibhabha (born 9 September 1986) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium pace. Hamilton Masakadza
Hamilton Masakadza (born 9 August 1983) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer, who played all formats of the game for Zimbabwe. He captained the national team during 2016 ICC World T20, but was relieved of his duties due to an indifferent performance by the team during the tournament, where they failed to get past the qualifying round . Russell Tiffin
Russell Blair Tiffin (born 4 June 1959) is a Zimbabwean cricket umpire and former cricketer. He was a member of the ICC International umpire panel from 1995 to 2018 when he retired. Early life Tiffin was born in Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia (now Harare, Zimbabwe). His family were farmers in the Tengwe area in the north of the country.
