Bangladeshi Cricket Team In New Zealand In 2016–17
The Bangladeshi cricket team toured New Zealand from December 2016 to January 2017 to play two Test matches, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20Is). New Zealand won both the ODI and T20I series 3–0 and won the Test series 2–0. Squads Mushfiqur Rahim suffered a hamstring injury in the first ODI and as a result, he was ruled out of the remaining ODI and T20I matches. He was replaced by Nurul Hasan. Jeetan Patel was added to New Zealand's squad for the third ODI. Martin Guptill suffered a hamstring injury during the third ODI match and was ruled out of the T20I series. He was replaced by Neil Broom. Broom was later ruled out because of a fractured finger which he sustained during the first T20I and was replaced by George Worker. Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Bengali: মেহেদী হাসান মিরাজ; born: 25 October 1997) is a Bangladeshi international cricket player who plays Tests and One Day Internationals (ODIs) for the Bangladesh national team. Mitchell Josef Santner (born 5 February 1992) is a New Zealand international cricketer who plays all forms of the game. Domestically, he plays for Northern Districts cricket team. Luke Ronchi ( ; born 23 April 1981) is a New Zealand-Australian cricket coach and a former cricketer. He represented both the Australia national cricket team and New Zealand national cricket team in international cricket. Ronchi is the only player to have played for both Australia and New Zealand in cricketing history and was part of the New Zealand World Cup side that finished runners-up in the 2015 Cricket World Cup, after their defeat in the final to Australia. Jeetan Shashi Patel (born 7 May 1980) is a former New Zealand international cricketer. A right arm off spin bowler, he plays for Wellington in New Zealand and Warwickshire in England. James Douglas Sheahan Neesham (born 17 September 1990), better known as Jimmy Neesham, is a New Zealand international cricketer who has played for New Zealand cricket team. Colin Munro (born 11 March 1987) is a South-African born New Zealand international cricketer, who plays limited overs formats of the game.
