Ballymacash Rangers Football Club is an intermediate-level football club who play in the NIFL Premier Intermediate League. The club is based in the Lisburn area and play their home games at The Bluebell Stadium. The club also has a senior reserve side, senior swifts side, senior women's side and a youth academy. Current squad History Ballymacash Rangers won the top tier (Intermediate A) of the Mid-Ulster Football League in the 2003/04 season. Following this the club had a trophy barren spell up until the 2012/13 season when following a relegation from Intermediate A, the club found themselves in Intermediate B. A successful 2012/13 campaign saw them lift the Intermediate B title which was followed up by winning the Mid-Ulster Football League Alan Wilson Cup to make it a double winning season. The Bluebell Stadium is a football stadium in Lisburn, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is the home stadium of local football team Ballymacash Rangers F.C. Renovation The new ground was a grass venue from 1984 until July 2020, when a new artificial surface was installed as part of a ground renovation. Notable matches The ground played host to the first ever Northern Ireland Football League Women's Premiership game in the city of Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Dungannon Swifts F
Dungannon () is a town in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is the second-largest town in the county (after Omagh) and had a population of 14,340 at the 2011 Census. The Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council had its headquarters in the town, though since 2015 it has been covered by Mid-Ulster District Council. For centuries, it was the 'capital' of the O'Neill dynasty of Tír Eoghain, who dominated most of Ulster and built a castle on the hill. David Armstrong (born 23 January 1987) is a Northern Irish former professional footballer. He previously played for NIFL Premiership side Dungannon Swifts, as a defender. He began his career with Scottish Premier League side Heart of Midlothian and had loan spells at Crusaders, Cowdenbeath and Raith Rovers. Armstrong has represented Northern Ireland at under-17, 19 and 21 levels. Career Hearts Armstrong began his career as a youth player with Lisburn Youth in Northern Ireland before joining Heart of Midlothian in Scotland in 2004 at youth level. The Northern Ireland national under-21 football team also known as the Northern Ireland under-21s or Northern Ireland U21s, is the national under-21 football team of Northern Ireland and is controlled by the Irish Football Association. The team competes in the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, held every two years. To date Northern Ireland haven't yet qualified for the finals tournament. Crusaders Football Club is a professional Northern Irish football club, playing in the NIFL Premiership, highest level of the Irish League. The club, founded in 1898, is based in north Belfast and plays its home matches at Seaview. Crusaders originally played as a junior level team until 1931. Rory Christopher Patterson (born 16 July 1984) is a Northern Irish footballer who plays as a forward for Strabane Athletic and is the club's player-manager. He also played for the Northern Ireland national team. Having played youth football for Sion Swifts, Moorfield Celtic and Townsend United, Patterson joined Rochdale in 2002 before having spells with Radcliffe Borough and Mossley.
