Gillum Baley
Gillum Baley (19 June 1813 – 11 November 1895) was an American pioneer and judge. With Leonard Rose he led the ill-fated Rose–Baley Party, the first emigrant wagon train to attempt the journey from New Mexico to California via Beale's Wagon Road. He was one of the earliest settlers of Bailey Flats, California, which was named for him, and eventually settled in nearby Millerton (at the time the seat of Fresno County) where he served as County Judge for twelve years. Early life Baley's ancestors originally came from Virginia. He was born in Gallatin County, Illinois, on the Ohio river, between Flynn's and Ford's Ferry where his father William Baley had a farm. His father moved the family to Missouri when Baley was a small child. However, at the age of 13 he returned to Illinois working on farms for five years, first in Sangamon County and then in Pike County. Héctor Baley
Héctor Rodolfo Baley (born 16 November 1950 in Bahía Blanca) is an Argentine former professional football goalkeeper. Baley was a goalkeeper in Argentina's 1978 FIFA World Cup winning squad and also in the 1982 tournament. Given goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol's consistent performances, he ended up playing only a few matches for the national team. His career started in the Zubeldía era of Estudiantes de La Plata, where he was one of several goalkeepers who tried to fill in for suspended Alberto Poletti. In 1978 Baley was part of the Independiente team that won the Nacional championship of 1978. He also played for Huracán, Colón de Santa Fe, and for Talleres de Córdoba, where he was badly injured during the last game of the 1982–83 season (the game that handed the championship to Estudiantes, the team he started his career with). Henry Baley (died 20 December 1701) was a ship's captain for the Hudson's Bay Company and became a governor of that company. Virko Baley
Virko Baley (born October 21, 1938) is a Ukrainian-American composer, conductor, and pianist. He was born in Radekhiv in Poland (now in Ukraine), the only child of Petro (Peter) and Lydia Baley. Petro Baley was interred at Auschwitz concentration camp following the German invasion of Poland in 1939, and he and extended family were relocated to Slovakia. The family was reunited on a farm in Germany towards the end of the war to work as farm laborers, after which they relocated to Munich. From 1947 to 1949, the family lived in a displaced person's camp in Regensburg, Germany. Baley began his formal music training in Germany. He studied at the Los Angeles Conservatory (renamed the California Institute of the Arts). He retired from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with the rank of Distinguished Professor of Music Composition after an academic career there lasting 46 years. David Brimmer is an American voice actor and fight choreographer. He also goes by the names David J. Brimmer and J. David Brimmer. As a voice actor, he has worked for 4Kids Entertainment, Central Park Media, DuArt Film and Video, Headline Studios, NYAV Post, and TAJ Productions. Brimmer has been choreographing violence in New York City, as well as in regional theaters around the country for over 20 years: from the current national tour of Jekyll & Hyde and the Off-Broadway productions of Bug and Killer Joe to the Joseph Papp Public Theater's Blood Wedding.
