Fredrik Bajer
Fredrik Bajer (21 April 1837 – 22 January 1922) was a Danish writer, teacher, and pacifist politician who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1908 together with Klas Pontus Arnoldson. Life He was son of a clergyman born in Næstved in 1837. Bajer served as an officer in the Danish army, fighting in the 1864 war against Prussia and Austria where he was promoted to the rank of first lieutenant. He was discharged in 1865, and moved to Copenhagen where he became a teacher, translator and writer. He entered the Danish Parliament in 1872 as a member of Folketinget and held a seat there for the following 23 years. As a member of parliament, he worked for the use of international arbitration to solve conflicts among nations, and it is due to Bajer's efforts that foreign relations became part of the work of the Danish Parliament and that Denmark participated in the Inter-Parliamentary Union from the beginning and earned a distinguished position among its members. Tomasz Bajer
Tomasz Bajer (born 1971) is a Polish visual artist interested in contemporary phenomenons as well as conceptions centred on free culture, social and political issues. In 1997, he was given a diploma and a reward for his artistic work at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (Poland). The artist has been a two-time grant holder of the Ministry of Culture and an artist-in-residence in Carrara, Essen, Strassbourg, Munich and Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle (UK); nominated for the Europaeisches Kolleg der Bildenden Kuenste in Berlin. His artistic activities involve conceptual art, action painting, action art, language art, Installation art, installation, objects, sculpture, multimedia and painting. Lukáš Bajer (born 15 December 1984, in Přerov) is a Czech footballer midfielder who played in the Czech National Football League, Czech First League, Eredivisie, Kazakhstan Premier League, Moldovan National Division, Canadian Soccer League and Greek Amateur Division Playing career Bajer began his career in 2004, with Atlantic Slovan Pardubice in the Czech National Football League. Bajer Bridge
Bajer Bridge is located between the Vrata and Oštrovica interchanges of the A6 motorway in Gorski Kotar, Croatia, spanning Lake Bajer. It is long. The bridge consists of two parallel structures: The first one was completed in 1995, and the second one in 2008. The bridge is tolled within the A6 motorway ticket system and there are no separate toll plazas associated with use of the bridge. The bridge was constructed by Viadukt. Structure description At this location the motorway route follows a horizontal curve of radius. Transversal grade of the deck is constant and equal to 2.5%, while elevation grade of the bridge is constant at 0.835%, sloping down towards Oštrovica. The bridge is a box girder structure supporting the deck across 10 spans: + 8 x + .
