Bahurani (1989 Film)
''Bahurani'' is a 1989 family-drama Indian Hindi film directed by Manik Chatterjee and produced by Mohan Lalwani and Prem Lawani. It starred Rekha, Rakesh Roshan, Utpal Dutt, Usha Kiran, Deven Verma in lead roles. Music for the film was scored by R. D. Burman. Plot Amit is a modern guy, raised in Bombay (present-day Mumbai) and educated in USA. He wants to marry a compatible woman who is educated like him and shares his views. To the contrary, his parents fix his marriage with a beautiful, intelligent and traditional village girl, Madhuri. Dilraj Kaur (born 21 May 1960), is an Indian playback singer. She is most known for singing in films such as ''Galiyon Ka Badshah'' (2001), '' Me and Mr. Canadian'' (2019) etc. She has sung 286 songs in Hindi films. Career Dilraj Kaur started to play the tabla and taking musical training at the age of seven. Her first movie was in the 1975 film ''Jaan Hazir Hai''. In 1980, she released the song "Gaddi Jaangi Ye" along with singers Mohammed Rafi, Shailendra Singh and Hemlata composed by Usha Khanna which became a hit. Shailendra Singh is an Indian playback singer and actor. He sang several Hindi and a few Marathi songs during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was very close to Mehmood Ali. Early life Shailendra Singh was born on 4 October 1952 in Mumbai, India to a Punjabi family. He studied at Hill Grange High School at Peddar Road, and did his graduation from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. He then joined the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune to train as an actor. Amit Kumar
Amit Kumar (born 3 July 1952) is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer. Kumar launched his own music production company, named Kumar Brothers Music. He predominantly worked in Bollywood and regional film songs since the 1970s, including 150 Hindi and Bengali compositions by R. D. Burman. After Burman's death in 1994, citing a lack of quality music composition, Kumar withdrew from playback singing and concentrated on live orchestra shows.
