Bad girl art is a superheroine artwork style trend that emerged during the 1990s. History The term "bad girl art" was coined in the 1990s as an allusion – and contrast – to the "good girl art" movement that started in the 1940s, and is used to refer to the trend of femme fatale heroines that started in the early 1990s. The "bad girl" art trend was derived from the exaggerated visual styles of the male and female form first used in the late 80s by artists such as Rob Liefeld and Jim Lee. The precursors to the trend were Vampirella, created by publisher James Warren in 1969, and Marvel Comics' Elektra, created by Frank Miller in 1981. American singer Daya has released one studio album, three extended plays (EP), twenty-three singles (including three as a featured artist), seventeen music videos, and two promotional singles. She signed with the label Artbeatz in 2015 and released her debut single, " Hide Away", on April 22 that year. Vincent Lee Moses (March 13, 1941 – January 26, 1998), known as Lee Moses, was an American R&B and soul singer and guitarist. His recordings in the late 1960s as well as his 1971 LP ''Time and Place'', are highly regarded within the deep soul genre. Life and career Lee Moses was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended Booker T. Washington High School. In the late 1950s he formed his first band, the Showstoppers. They became a popular live act in the Atlanta area, and were at one time the house band at the Royal Peacock club. Moses moved to New York City in the mid-1960s, where he worked as a session musician and recorded with Johnny Brantley, who co-wrote and produced his first single, "My Adorable One", in 1965. In 1966, he co-produced, with Johnny Brantley, several tracks by a virtually unknown Jimi Hendrix at Abtone Recording Studios in New York City.
