Back On The Streets (Gary Moore Album)
''Back on the Streets'' is the debut solo album by Northern Irish blues-rock guitarist Gary Moore, released in 1978. Background The album is Moore's first authentic solo record (1973's ''Grinding Stone'' album being credited to The Gary Moore Band). Thin Lizzy bassist/vocalist Phil Lynott and drummer Brian Downey appear on four songs, including "Don't Believe a Word" (which originally appeared on the 1976 Thin Lizzy album ''Johnny the Fox'') and the UK top 10 single "Parisienne Walkways". On the album's sleeve, Moore is depicted leaving notorious prison Wormwood Scrubs in the Inner London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham in a photograph by Chalkie Davies. Release The album was re-issued in 1989 by Grand Slam Records with a revised playing order and an additional track ("Spanish Guitar"). More bonus tracks were available for download and on the Universal Music Group Remastered CD edition of 2013. The tracks "Road of Pain" and "Track Ten" recorded in the same sessions, remain ...

Back On The Streets (song)
"Back on the Streets" is a 1976 song by the UK rock group Hawkwind. It was originally released as a single in the UK (CB299) on 28 January 1977. Hawkwind had toured the UK in September and October 1976 in support of their album ''Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music'', and although the song had not appeared on that album it was included in the set-list, a live version being later released on the album ''Atomhenge 76''. The group were due to enter AIR Studios in October to record this song as a stand-alone single release, not to be included on any album. However, tensions within the band saw founding member and saxophonist Nik Turner and second drummer Alan Powell being expelled before recording began. The remaining five members cut the single and the song remained in the set during their December tour, after which it was dropped, never to be performed again. The music was written by Paul Rudolph and lyrics by Robert Calvert to the vocal melody of The Supremes' "Back in My Arms Ag ...

''Vinnie Vincent Invasion'' is the first studio album by Vinnie Vincent Invasion, released in 1986 through Chrysalis Records. Background Two singles were released, "Boyz Are Gonna Rock" and "Back on the Streets". A music video was only made for "Boyz Are Gonna Rock". In the video for "Boyz Are Gonna Rock," the singer in the video is Mark Slaughter rather than the actual singer Robert Fleischman. Fleischman left the band prior to filming the video and Mark Slaughter lip-synched to Fleischman's vocals. "Back on the Streets" was originally written by Vincent with musician Richie Friedman in 1981, demoed but not used for the Creatures of the Night album and recorded by 3 Speed for the 1984 movie ''Voyage of the Rock Aliens''. It was later covered by Europe's original guitarist John Norum for his 1987 solo album '' Total Control''. This song was also played by Ace Frehley during his earliest shows with his post-Kiss band Frehley's Comet in 1985 and also demoed by his band as well dur ...

Innocence Is No Excuse
''Innocence Is No Excuse'' is the seventh studio album by heavy metal band Saxon released in 1985. It was the group's first album for EMI after a falling-out with their previous label, Carrere Records, and their last with original bassist Steve Dawson. Release and reception The song "Everybody Up" was used in the 1985 Italian horror film, '' Demoni''. The album was given a generally positive review by Eduardo Rivadavia of AllMusic, who awarded it four out of five stars. Although he commented in his review for the band's previous album '' Crusader'' that this album "would only lead to greater extremes of personality disorder and leave the group's fan base confused and utterly divided", he praised it for being "their strongest collective set of songs since 1981's ''Denim and Leather''" although acknowledged that some of the songs "rubbed many fans the wrong way". He singled out the songs "Back on the Streets", "Rock 'n' Roll Gypsy" and "Broken Heroes" for praise, the latter of w ...

Back In The Streets
''Back in the Streets'' is a 1979 EP by the American heavy metal band Dokken, recorded in 1979 during the band's tour of Germany. According to band founder/singer Don Dokken, ''Back in the Streets'' was a demo tape that was stolen from him. It is an illegal bootleg for which the band sees no royalties or financial remuneration. Since it is a bootleg release, Don Dokken has reportedly stated that it is acceptable to duplicate this material. Dokken's rationale is that releasing the material to the public domain will severely curb the ability of the bootleggers to profit financially. The record was released in 1989 on the German Repertoire label. Of the members of Dokken associated with the major label releases from 1983 onward, only Don plays on this album. The band photo includes drummer Gary Holland (later of Great White) at far left, and guitarist Greg Leon second from the left, both former members of the band Suite 19. At far right is bassist Gary Link. These were the music ...
