Back Again (1957 Film)
Back Again (Egyptian Arabic: رد قلبي translit: ''Rod Qalby'' aliases: My Heart is Returned or Return my Heart) is a 1957 Egyptian film directed by Ezz El-Dine Zulficar and written by Yusuf Sibai. The film stars Shoukry Sarhan, Mariam Fakhr eddine, Salah Zulfikar, Hussein Riad and Hind Rostom. The film is listed in the Top 100 Egyptian films of the 20th century. Synopsis The film chronicles the story of a poor young man, the son of Janaini, named Ali (Shoukry Sarhan) and his brother Hussein (Salah Zulfikar), and Ali and his immortal love for a rich princess named Engy (Mariam Fakhr eddine) does not see the light of class discrimination, and her father's categorical rejection of that marriage. Their relationship becomes complicated when her father learns of this relationship, so he expels Ali's father, and Engy threatens that he will smite her lover if she does not back down. Ezz El-Dine Zulficar
Ezz El-Dine Ahmed Mourad Zulficar (Egyptian Arabic: عز الدين ذو الفقار, ; October 28, 1919 – July 1, 1963) was an Egyptian film director, screenwriter, actor and producer known for his distinctive style, which blends romance and action. Zulficar is widely regarded one of the most influential filmmakers in Egyptian Cinema's golden age. Early life Ezz El-Dine Ahmed Mourad Zulficar was born in Cairo on 28 October 1919, his father Ahmed Mourad Bek Zulfikar was a senior director of police and his mother Nabila Hanem Zulfikar was a housewife. He was the fifth among eight siblings. His brother Mohamed who would grow up to be a businessman, Soad, Fekreya, Mahmoud, who would grow up to be a director and actor. The Free Officers ( ar, حركة الضباط الأحرار, Ḥarakat a-dubbāṭ al-ʾaḥrār) were a group of revolutionary Egyptian nationalism, Egyptian nationalist officers in the Egyptian Armed Forces and Sudanese Armed Forces that instigated the Egyptian Revolution of 1952. Adly Kasseb عدلى كاسب (full name: Adly Abdel Hamid Kasseb) (April 21, 1918 – September 13, 1978) was an Egyptian actor who acted in many movies and plays.
