South West England, or the South West of England, is one of nine official regions of England. Redfield, Bristol
Redfield is an area situated in East Bristol though it is represented in Westminster as part of the Bristol West constituency. It includes the stretch of Church Road (A420) from Verrier Road to the western boundary of St George's Park, Victorian-era landscaped parkland. St George, Bristol
St George is a district of Bristol, England on the Eastern edge of the city boundary. St George was originally outside the city boundary in Gloucestershire, the terminus of the tram line from Bristol was in Beaconsfield Road. It became a civil parish (Bristol St George) in 1866, and briefly an urban district from 1894 to 1898. The parish and urban district were absorbed into Bristol in 1898. Troopers' Hill chimney is a local landmark. St George was a mining area from the early 19th century (coal and fireclay) until 1904 when the last fireclay mines were abandoned. Easton, Bristol
Easton is an inner city area of the city of Bristol in the United Kingdom. Informally the area is considered to stretch east of Bristol city centre and the M32 motorway, centred on Lawrence Hill. Its southern and eastern borders are less defined, merging into St Philip's Marsh and Eastville. The area includes the Lawrence Hill and Barton Hill estates. In administrative terms, Easton comprises the electoral wards of Easton and part of Lawrence Hill. It is located within the Bristol West constituency. Knowle West
Knowle West is a neighbourhood situated on a low plateau in the south of Bristol, England, about 2 miles (3 km) from the centre of the city. Historically in Somerset, most of the area is coterminous with the Filwood ward of Bristol City Council, although a small part of the estate lies within Knowle ward to the east. To the west are Bishopsworth and Hartcliffe. To the north are Bedminster and Windmill Hill and to the south Whitchurch Park and Hengrove. In 2008 the population was estimated to be 11,787. Knowle is a district and wards of the United Kingdom, council ward in the south east of the city of Bristol in England, United Kingdom. Brislington is an area in the south east of the city of Bristol, England. It is on the edge of Bristol and from Bath. Brislington Brook runs through the area in the woodlands of Nightingale Valley and St Anne's Wood. Windmill Hill, Bristol
Windmill Hill is situated in the south of the city of Bristol and is often referred to as being part of Bedminster. It is a predominantly residential location, and became popular in the 1990s and 2000s with students, artists and environmentalists, often sharing rented accommodation. The area has mainly Victorian terraced houses though there are also two residential tower blocks Polden and Holroyd House. Totterdown, Bristol
Totterdown is an inner-suburb of Bristol, England, situated just south of the River Avon and to the south-east of Temple Meads railway station and the city centre. It rises relatively steeply from the river bank to a largely terraced Victorian housing area which is notable for its painted homes - often in bright colours - that can be seen from some distance. There is a tight network of extremely steep roads in Upper Totterdown, of which ''Vale Street'', although very short, is alleged to be the steepest residential road in England. Bower Ashton is a small district in south west Bristol on the western boundary with North Somerset, lying within the Southville, Bristol, Southville ward, approximately two miles from the city centre.
