BBC News At Nine
The ''BBC News at Nine'' (currently styled as ''BBC News at 9'') is a morning news programme. It is aired every Sunday to Friday on BBC Two and the BBC News Channel for 60 minutes from 9am until 10am. On weekends, it is replaced by a standard edition of BBC World News. The programme is presented by Victoria Derbyshire, Annita McVeigh, and Ben Brown. The show includes a detailed look at the news, as well as analysis with guests and business, sport, newspaper review, your questions and weather updates. Viewers are encouraged to get in contact with the presenters using #BBCYourQuestions & #BBCNewsNine, Victoria@bbc.co.uk, text and Facebook with them regularly reading them out throughout the programme. BBC Nine O'Clock News
The ''BBC Nine O'Clock News'' was the flagship BBC News programme. It was launched on 14 September 1970 and ran until 13 October 2000, when it was replaced by the ''BBC Ten O'Clock News''. History The ''Nine O'Clock News'' was the BBC's flagship TV news bulletin throughout its run but the format changed significantly over its 30 years. The time of the bulletin was significant though coincidental—during World War II the ''Nine O'Clock News'' on the BBC Home Service was hugely important. The first week of the TV bulletin was presented by Robert Dougall, followed by Richard Baker and Kenneth Kendall, each presenting five consecutive nightly bulletins. The ''BBC News at One'' is the afternoon/lunchtime news bulletin from the BBC. Produced by BBC News, the programme is broadcast on BBC One and the BBC News (TV channel), BBC News channel (via British Sign Language) from Monday to Sunday at 1:00pm for 30 minutes, although a shorter bulletin can be BBC Weekend News, broadcast on the weekend. The Film Review
''The Film Review'' (formerly ''Film 24'') is a 10-minute film-related programme that was usually shown on BBC News each Friday evening at 5:45pm. It reviewed three new films each week and was repeated several times during weekends. Jane Hill served as the main host, having taken over the position when Gavin Esler left as a BBC News channel presenter. Mark Kermode was the regular film critic. However, during the Coronavirus restrictions, the programme was presented exclusively by the film critic alone. MediaCityUK is a mixed-use property development on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal in Salford, Greater Manchester, England. The project was developed by Peel Media; its principal tenants are media organisations and the Quayside MediaCityUK shopping centre.
