Big Brother (franchise)
''Big Brother'' is a reality competition television franchise created by John de Mol Jr., first broadcast in the Netherlands in 1999 and subsequently syndicated internationally. The show features contestants called "housemates" or "HouseGuests" who live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The name is inspired by Big Brother (Nineteen Eighty-Four), Big Brother from George Orwell's novel ''Nineteen Eighty-Four'', and the housemates are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Buckingham Branch Railroad is a Class III short-line railroad operating over 275 miles (443 km) of historic and strategic trackage in Central Virginia. Sharing overhead traffic with CSX and Amtrak, the company's headquarters are in Dillwyn, Virginia in the former Chesapeake and Ohio Railway (C&O) station, itself a historic landmark in the community. The Boys' Brigade (BB) is an international interdenominational Christianity, Christian youth organisation, conceived by the Scottish businessman William Alexander Smith (Boys' Brigade), Sir William Alexander Smith to combine drill and fun activities with Christian values. Following its inception in Glasgow in 1883 the BB quickly spread across the United Kingdom, becoming a worldwide organisation by the early 1890s. BB Airways
BB Airways was a Nepalese airline based in Kathmandu, Nepal. It was established and started operations in September 2012. The airline's hub was Tribhuvan International Airport, from where it flew to three international destinations. The airline made its first flight on 13 October 2012 to Kuala Lumpur. The Japanese investment company TBI Group supported the airline, which was managed and promoted by the Non Resident Nepali Association. Beta blockers, also spelled β-blockers, are a class of medications that are predominantly used to manage abnormal heart rhythms ( arrhythmia), and to protect the heart from a second heart attack after a first heart attack ( secondary prevention). In theoretical computer science, the busy beaver game aims to find a terminating Computer program, program of a given size that (depending on definition) either produces the most output possible, or runs for the longest number of steps. Since an endless loop, endlessly looping program producing infinite output or running for infinite time is easily conceived, such programs are excluded from the game. Rather than traditional programming languages, the programs used in the game are n-state Turing machine, Turing machines, one of the first mathematical models of computation. Turing machines consist of an infinite tape, and a finite set of states which serve as the program's "source code". The War Machines
''The War Machines'' is the tenth and final serial of the third season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in 4 weekly parts from 25 June to 16 July 1966. The serial is set in London in the 1960s, shortly after construction of the Post Office Tower was completed. Denys James Watkins-Pitchford Order of the British Empire, MBE (25 July 1905 – 8 September 1990) was an English naturalist, artist and author under the pen name 'BB'. He won the 1942 Carnegie Medal for Writing, Carnegie Medal for ''The Little Grey Men''. Early life Denys Watkins-Pitchford was born in Lamport, Northamptonshire, the second son of the Revd. Walter Watkins-Pitchford and his wife, Edith. His father was Rector (ecclesiastical), rector of Lamport with Faxton from 1903 until his death in 1944; Faxton's church was dedicated to St Denys. His elder brother, Robert Engelard, died at the age of sixteen. Denys was himself considered to be delicate as a child, and because of this was educated at home, while his younger twin, Roger, was sent away to school. He spent a great deal of time on his own, wandering through the fields, and developed a love of the outdoors.
