B.O.B. (video Game)
''B.O.B.'' (known in Japan as ''Space Funky B.O.B.'') is a run and gun shooter for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was published by Electronic Arts in 1993. A sequel, ''B.O.B. II'', was in development but never released. Gameplay The Player character, player can choose from a wide variety of weapons and gadgets called "remotes", each with their own ammunition or stock. Use of remotes, such as a trampoline or helicopter, is necessary to complete some Level (video games), stages. A punch is also available when ammunition for B.O.B.'s gun runs out, or if the player wishes to conserve it. There is a time limit on every stage and once it runs out the player loses a Life (video games), life. Gray Matter Inc. was a Canadian video game developer based in Oakville, Ontario. It was established by Chris Gray in 1985 and disbanded in 1997. Super Nintendo Entertainment System Games
The Super Nintendo has a library of games, which were released in plastic encased ROM cartridges. The cartridges are shaped differently for different regions; North American cartridges have a rectangular bottom with inset grooves matching protruding tabs in the console, while other regions' cartridges are narrower with a smooth curve on the front and no grooves. The physical incompatibility can be overcome with use of various adapters, or through modification of the console. Internally, a regional lockout chip within the console and in each cartridge prevents PAL region games from being played on Japanese or North American consoles and vice versa. Paragon Publishing Ltd (or Paragon for short) was a magazine publisher in the UK, which published computer games and other entertainment titles from 1991 to 2003. Brief history Paragon Publishing Ltd was formed in a small office in Trowbridge, Wiltshire by ex-Future Publishing staff Richard Monteiro and Diane Tavener.
