B. P. Moideen
Balyambra Pottattu Moideen (1937–1982) was an Indian politician, film producer, and publisher from Kerala. He was State President of the youth wing of the Praja Socialist Party, and was elected member of Mukkam Panchayat in 1979. Moideen published ''Sports Herald'', a Malayalam sports magazine. His debut production was a Malayalam film ''Nizhale Nee Sakshi'' in 1977, which also debuted Seema as a lead actress, and portrayed the Rajan case, but the film was never released. Moideen later produced the films ''Abhinayam'' (1981) starring Jayan, and ''India Nee Sundari''. He was awarded the national civilian gallantry honour Jeevan Raksha Padak, Class I posthumously by the President of India in 1983, for saving lives in a ferry boat accident in Iruvanji River in Kozhikode in 1982, in which he drowned himself. Seema (actress)
Shanthakumari Nambiar (born 22 May 1951), known by her stage name Seema, is an Indian actress. She has acted in 260 films in Malayalam, 25 in Tamil, 7 in Telugu, 6 in Kannada and one in Hindi. Veteran actor Vijayan gave her the screen name Seema.Bringing a remarkable change in the style of acting from traditional Malayalam movies at that time, she was considered as the top and most popular actress of her time. Prithviraj Sukumaran (born 16 October 1982) is an Indian actor, director, producer and playback singer primarily working in Malayalam cinema. He has also done Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. Ennu Ninte Moideen
''Ennu Ninte Moideen'' (English: ''Yours Truly, Moideen'') is a 2015 Indian Malayalam-language biographical romantic drama film written and directed by R. S. Vimal, based on the real-life story of Kanchanamala and B. P. Moideen, which took place in the 1960s in Mukkam, Kozhikode. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu essay the title characters of Moideen and Kanchanamala while Bala, Tovino Thomas, Sai Kumar, Sashi Kumar and Lena appear in supporting roles. Panchayat
The Panchayat raj is a political system, originating from the Indian subcontinent, found mainly in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. It is the oldest system of local government in the Indian subcontinent, and historical mentions date to the 250 CE period. The word ''raj'' means "rule" and ''panchayat'' means "assembly" (''ayat'') of five (''panch'').
