B.B. Watson
Haskell Burl "B. B." Watson (July 10, 1953 – September 28, 2013) was an American country music artist. He charted in 1991 with the single "Light at the End of the Tunnel" from his album of the same name. Biography Haskell Burl Watson was born July 10, 1953, in Tyler, Texas, and raised in La Porte, Texas. His nickname "B. B." stood for "Bad Boy". Watson spent his teenage and young adult years working as a musician throughout Texas before moving to Nashville, Tennessee, in 1991 to begin a music career. That same year, he was the first act signed to BNA Records, then a new label division of RCA Records Nashville. His debut single "Light at the End of the Tunnel" was the label's first charted single, entering ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs in mid-1991. The song peaked at number 23 that year. Honky-tonk
A honky-tonk (also called honkatonk, honkey-tonk, or tonk) is both a bar that provides country music for the entertainment of its patrons and the style of music played in such establishments. It can also refer to the type of piano (tack piano) used to play such music. Bars of this kind are common in the South and Southwest United States. Many eminent country music artists, such as Jimmie Rodgers, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Ernest Tubb, Johnny Horton, and Merle Haggard, began their careers as amateur musicians in honky-tonks. The ''Gavin Report'' was a San Francisco-based radio industry trade publication. The publication was founded by radio performer Bill Gavin in 1958. Its Top 40 listings were used for many years by programmers to decide content of programs. The publication was also responsible for running the Gavin Seminar, a convention for radio industry members. In February 2002, United Business Media, who had owned the Gavin Report since 1992, decided to close the publication. Gavin executives cited a lack of cooperation on the part of media conglomerates (specifically naming Clear Channel Communications and Infinity Broadcasting Infinity Broadcasting Corporation was a radio company that existed from 1972 until 2005. ''RPM'' ( and later ) was a Canadian music-industry publication that featured song and album charts for Canada. The publication was founded by Walt Grealis in February 1964, supported through its existence by record label owner Stan Klees. ''RPM'' ceased publication in November 2000. ''RPM'' stood for "Records, Promotion, Music". The magazine's title varied over the years, including ''RPM Weekly'' and ''RPM Magazine''. Baytown, Texas
Baytown is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, within Harris and Chambers counties. Located in the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan statistical area, it lies on the northern side of the Galveston Bay complex near the outlets of the San Jacinto River and Buffalo Bayou.
