B-NL Challenge Trophy
The B-NL Challenge Trophy was a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour, played in the Netherlands and Belgium in alternating years. The tournament was supported by the Netherlands Golf Federation (NGF) and the Royal Belgian Golf Federation (KBGF), the tournament was hosted in the Netherlands 2021 and 2023, and in Belgium 2022 (and had been planned to be again in 2024), following the cancellation of the 2020 event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It succeeded the Belgian tournament the KPMG Trophy on the Challenge Tour schedule, and marked the first return of the tour to the Netherlands since the Dutch Futures The Dutch Futures was a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour from 2007 to 2009. Mikael Lindberg
Mikael Johan Lindberg (born 12 January 1993) is a Swedish professional golfer and European Tour player. He won the 2022 Indoor Golf Group Challenge. Professional career Lindberg turned professional in 2013 and joined the Nordic Golf League. He recorded his maiden professional victory at the 2016 Trummenäs Open. In 2019 he won the Tour Final in Estonia. His breakthrough season was 2020 when he won 4 tournaments and topped the Nordic Golf League Order of Merit, to graduate to the Challenge Tour. On the Challenge Tour he was in contention in his second start, finishing tied for third at the 2021 Bain's Whisky Cape Town Open, one stroke behind J. C. Ritchie and Jacques Blaauw. Haraldur Magnús
Haraldur Franklín Magnús (born 16 March 1991) is an Icelandic professional golfer who plays on the Challenge Tour. He participated in the 2018 Open Championship, becoming the first Icelandic golfer to compete in a men's major golf championship. Early life Magnús grew up in Reykjavík, Iceland, and attended college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Career Magnús played in the 2015 Amateur Championship and turned professional in the following year. In 2018, he came through final qualifying for the 2018 Open Championship at Prince's Golf Club. Michael Hoey (golfer)
Michael George Wilfred Hoey (born 13 February 1979) is a retired Northern Irish professional golfer who played on the European Tour and the Challenge Tour. Amateur career Hoey was born in Ballymoney but played much of his early golf at Shandon Park Golf Club in East Belfast. He won the British Amateur Championship in 2001 and was a member of the victorious 2001 Great Britain & Ireland Walker Cup team. As British Amateur Champion, he was invited to play in the Masters Tournament in 2002, where he missed the cut by a single stroke. He turned professional later that year. Marcus Helligkilde
Marcus Helligkilde (born 5 October 1996) is a Danish professional golfer. In 2021, he won the Vierumäki Finnish Challenge and Swiss Challenge on the Challenge Tour and finished the season as the winner of the Challenge Tour Rankings. Career As an amateur, Helligkilde won the 2015 Turkish Amateur Open Championship and represented Denmark at the 2016 Eisenhower Trophy and the 2017 European Amateur Team Championship. The 2021 Challenge Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Similarly to 2020, the season was to begin in February with three tournaments in South Africa co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour, but in mid-January the South African swing was postponed to April–May over COVID-19 pandemic concerns. The official schedule announcement was made on 27 January 2021. In April two back-to-back events in Sweden in May were added. In August, it was announced that the Hainan Open and the Foshan Open; both played in China, were cancelled.
