The B-611 is a Chinese solid-fuelled short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) developed by China Precision Machinery Import-Export Corporation (CPMIEC). The missile has a maximum range of 150–400 km. The B-611 development began development in 1995, and first shown in 2004. A newer variant was shown in late 2006. The B-611 was sold to Turkey via technology transfer. Further developed into J-600T Yıldırım and Bora (missile). Variants B611 Basic variant, with a range of 250–280 km and a 500 kg warhead. The J-600T Yıldırım (''Thunderbolt'') is a conventional battlefield ballistic missile system providing high mobility, designed to attack high-value targets such as enemy air defence installations, C3I centers, logistics and infrastructure facilities as well as providing fire support to friendly artillery by expanding the area of effect. History Turkey's cooperation with China and Pakistan for the joint development of ballistic missiles began in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Weishi Rockets
The Weishi (WS; ) family of multiple rocket launcher systems were mainly developed by Sichuan Aerospace Industry Corporation (SCAIC, also known as Base 062) in Chengdu, China. The systems include the WS-1 (), the improved WS-1B (), the WS-1E (), the WS-2 (), as well as many other models. The WS-1 series weapon system did not enter PLA service and has order from Thailand. The WS-2 may finally see PLA service in the future. It's worth noticing that although sharing the same name, there are other developers for different models of Weishi series multiple rocket launchers (MRL) other than the primary developer SCAIC. Bora (missile)
Bora is a tactical ballistic missile developed by Turkish company ROKETSAN. It has 610 mm diameter, a length of 8.0 m, a total weight of 2500 kg with a minimum range of 80 km and maximum range of 280 km. Its export version is called Khan. It was tested and entered service in May 2017. Deliveries were completed in early 2021. Design The Bora uses GPS+GLONASS aided INS / INS only guidance and its launcher is mounted on a VOLAT 8x8 truck. It carries a 470-kg high-explosive or fragmentation warhead. Accuracy is ≤10 m.
