Halit Refiğ
Halit Refiğ (5 March 1934 – 11 October 2009) was a Turkish film director, film producer, screenwriter and writer. He made around sixty films, including feature films, documentaries and TV serials. He is considered to be the pioneer of the National Cinema movement and the initiator of the production of TV serials in Turkey. Biography Halit Refiğ graduated from Şişli Terakki High School in 1951 and studied engineering at Robert College in Istanbul. Refiğ directed his first films in 8mm while he served as a military reserve officer in Korea, Japan and Ceylon. He wrote articles on cinema at newspapers in 1956 and published the ''Sinema Dergisi'' magazine together with Nijat Özön. He began his career as Atıf Yılmaz's assistant in 1957 together with Yılmaz Güney. He worked as scriptwriter for Atıf Yılmaz and Memduh Ün. Kartal Tibet
Kartal Tibet (27 March 1939 – 1 July 2021) was a Turkish actor and film director. Some of his famous films include ''Ölmeyen Aşk'', ''Dağlar Kızı'', ''Senede Bir Gün'', ''Sultan'', ''Zübük'', ''Gol Kralı'', and '' Şalvar Davası''. Tibet was also known for his action roles, especially that of the title series. On 1 July 2021, he died in Istanbul, aged 82. He was laid to rest at the Zincirlikuyu Cemetery on 3 July 2021. Muzaffer Tema
Muzaffer Tema (June 15, 1919 – October 4, 2011) was a Turkish movie actor. He was born on June 15, 1919 in Istanbul. Following his education in flute, violin and piano playing at the Istanbul Municipality Conservatory, he served as a musician at the Ankara State Conservatory and the Presidency Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1949, Muzaffer debuted in acting in the movie ''Çığlık''. He became popular in the Turkish cinema during the 1950s. To try his luck in Hollywood, he divorced and went in 1956 to the USA, where he played in two movies, ''A Certain Smile'' (1958) (''Acı Tebessüm'') and ''Twelve to the Moon'' (1960) (''Aya Giden 12 Adam''). He was also married to Zisan Tema and became so the first ever Turkish actor to play in a Hollywood movie. After two and half years, he returned home due to his father's illness.
